Zhuhai’s tropical landscapes are the theme of rooftop landscapes interconnecting all the structures, while the tall buildings recall the surrounding mountains.
Office of the future
The future office will not be inside an urban area, but be part of a natural landscape, where the defining edge between inside and outside is blurred. The office itself is organized as village, where departments are houses, and open spaces are streets. Bisecting the floor plans are green paths leading to interconnecting gardens.
Pearl River Condominium Towers, Guangzhou, China.
The program configuration envisions a vertical village, in which every unit has a close relationship with the Pearl River by means of balcony gardens and indoor water features.
Futian Sports Complex, Shenzhen, China (with Nadel Architects).
Through the introduction of roof top parks, the project repairs a community separated by thoroughfares, while establishing a meeting ground for local sports teams.
Comprehensive athletics complex, Dalian, China (with Nadel Architects).
Awarded most significant project in China, this project has put Dalian on the world stage for sports and entertainment. The site planning is based on intersecting circles, connecting the venues and unifying them into one dynamic complex. The program includes a 5- star Phoenix Hotel, managed by Kempinsky.
Exhibition and conference center, Dalian, China (with Nadel Architects).
The program involves the largest project of its kind in Northern China, including the exhibition facilities as well as the urban design of a related residential and financial district. The planning has functional and visual clarity for both logistical operations and visitor way finding.
Zhongyu Garden Plaza, Hiatt hotel and conference, retail and office center, Beijing, China.
Various schemes. Extensive landscaping at all levels integrates conference, hotel and retail with the urban environment.
Roncheng Commercial Development – Office, hotel, retail, Haikou, China.
A playful combination of small sized volumes together with a theme of leaves displayed with fritted glass on the facades creates a human scale. The massing with a large opening in the center places the building as a gateway towards the ocean.
Changliu District Residential Resort, Haikou, China (with Nadel Architects).
The result of a winning competition, the concept is to create the most direct and meaningful connection with the island of Haikou’s tropical environment. The project establishes its identity as a significant addition to the city’s skyline.
Haikou Sunshine phase 3
198m tower to be built on the last remaining site of Super 3 Studio’s Haikou Sunshine project. It will have over 200 units, a sunken plaza with wading pools, a cinema, restaurant, business center, a children’s play area, etc. Numerous designs were studied for this quintessential tower in Haikou’s Changliu area.
W Hotel Tampa, Florida, USA
60 story, 350 room and 200 unit condominium tower, including a 10 level parking garage.The architecture is inspired by the geometric opportunities inherent in the letter ‘W’ (While at Nadel Architects)
Maike Financial Center: Office, 300 room Hyatt regency, shopping mall, Xian, China
The program includes a Hyatt Regency, speculative office space, and a retail podium.The twin towers will be the most iconic building in Xian’s CBD.(While at Nadel Architects)

A proposal for a better 632m tower for Pudong, Shanghai, China
Masterplan for office and exhibition Center and new residential city, Dandong,
China. Various schemes. (with Nadel Architects). Commissioned by the Dalian Planning department, the project’s goal is to promote the benefits of a good relation ship between China and North Korea.
New Tech Center, international competition, Shenzhen, China.
A large program of high-rise office towers, retail, and subway connections is organized as a landscape of big trees and podium with an undulating rooftop park. Bridges flow from the park making connections with the surrounding environment.
Nanjing Zixin Plaza
High-tech corporate headquarters, five star hotel, serviced apartments and a shopping mall.
Efficient lay-out maximizes land use, while creating a memorable landmark. The architectural expression is inspired by the esthetics of computer motherboards, paying homage to the complex’ main user. CMB China Merchants Bank, Regional headquarters, Chengdu, China
The program includes 2 office towers, a call center, an online customer service center, a 3 star hotel, a 4 star hotel, a conference and training center, and three employee cafeterias. The buildings are unified by a continuous lobby surrounding a large garden, creating as much interaction among employees as possible, enhancing team building across all disciplines.(With Nadel Architects)

Skylights in connecting atria create a seamless indoor-outdoor shopping experience. Retail spaces are articulated as separate buildings to reduce scale and add life to the streetscape. (While at Nadel architects)
ClubMed Lijiang Masterplan, Yulong Province, China
The program includes a 400 key ClubMed and the establishment of 2 residential towns, and one commercial shopping village.Planning and architecture draw predominantly from the rich Naxi culture of the population of Lijiang and their distinctive building style, culture, and Dongba, their beautiful image based script.
Weihai Happy Town Masterplan
The city of Weihai desired a must visit place where tourist can learn everything about the area’s rich history, culture, ecology and resources. Special curated walks connect zones such beaches, dunes, forests, exhibits and an Imax theater. A gondola traverses the complex allowing spectacular views of the entire park.
